Lifebeats is a project set up for people in recovery from substance addiction. During workshops, participants take part in informal music-making activities and are introduced to song-writing and the opportunity to form a band.

Lifebeats workshops are supported by professionally trained musicians who all have a particular interested in social action within the wider community – a major part of the work done during these projects is to give participants the opportunity to discover and utilise the many benefits that music can have to both physical and mental health.

At the end of each project a performance of the song(s) written by participants is recorded and given to all involved.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this project is on

hold until further notice.
